These items make a huge difference in student engagement in algebra and geometry. Having these materials will help my students feel more comfortable and help them reach their potential. Our classroom does not have air conditioning so the beginning and the end of the year can be very difficult for students to focus due to the heat. Having a paper cutter will help create meaningful lessons for students that are more than just copying notes in a notebook. Creating sorting activities, gallery walks, and interactive notebooks help to make the lessons more attainable for all students!
