My project is really simple - students deserve to have the basic necessities and FOR FREE. I want to have a cart in my classroom with multiple drawers where students can grab anything they are in need of. Things like deodorant, lotion, hair ties, snacks. Items that my students are always asking for! It is hard to focus on learning if a student isn't comfortable due to hunger, smell, hair or skin issues. I want my classroom to feel safe and inclusive for all of my students to learn. It is so simple yet so huge.
