Young children need an unstructured playtime every day to support their development across all domains. However, we must socially distance at recess due to Covid, so half the Kinders must use a plain blacktop surface for recess several times a week. We believe that providing engaging and developmentally appropriate recess equipment will encourage cooperation, gross motor skills, and imagination. Beyond that, we also expect growth with executive functioning skills and social emotional learning to occur through the use of these materials. Our military students deserve the best, and our Kinder team feels these materials would really make a difference!

About my class
