Technology is important in education. Our students use Chromebooks and PCs on a daily basis in all subject areas. We regularly use our Chromebooks for math fluency, literacy and writing projects, as well as assignments in Google Classroom. Our students are in need of a headset and computer mouse for each Chromebook. Manipulating the cursor on the Chromebook is sometimes difficult for students, so having access to a mouse would make their learning experience easier. Additionally, many of our web-based learning programs use sound. Without headsets, our students have to turn the volume down on their Chromebooks, which prevents them from hearing instructions, a vital step for our second language and special needs students.
