The materials from this project will be used in multiple areas this school year. They will provide comfort for students while they spend time in the classroom reading, working in groups, and mastering new skills. They will also be used to help make sure that our classroom environment is as organized and inviting as possible. It is not necessarily about the materials themselves, but more about how they can be used to further learning and creativity. My main goal is to make sure that I have the tools to provide as many diverse and memorable experiences as possible. Things like the little flashlights will even be used for unique things like flashlight reading! Experiences like that stick with students and make a difference in how they view certain "academic" areas. My group of students show large amounts of excitement when we are able to do things that typically aren't normal for a classroom.
