My students need easy-to-understand graphics and a variety of ways to learn foundational social studies skills. Index cards are ideal in scaffolding class work into smaller chunks. Highlighters help students focus and fixate only on material they will be expected to know and test on. Teachers Pay Teachers allows me the ability to find secondary subject individual need-specific resources for various levels of learning. Examples include less words and more visuals to explain terms and concepts, matching-based assignments, lessons with fewer steps, and modified material for the hearing and visually impaired.
