Being an Early Childhood Special Education teacher and mentoring our new Early Childhood Special Education teachers, I want to help them feel supported by their community. What better way to say "we are here and we love you" to new new teachers than by purchasing materials for their classroom?! These materials will be used to engage their students through hands- on instruction. The board books will allow the students to independently explore their favorite books. The thick, cardboard pages of the board books allows our students with fine- motor challenges have an easier time gripping and turning the pages of the book. The other materials will be provided during learning centers to support children's learning by engaging their interests.
