After 2 years of learning impacted by COVID-19, my students' vocabulary skills, comprehension skills, writing skills and spelling skills are in need of a little extra TLC. I want them to be able to be more independent with looking up words for spelling and comprehension reasons as well as for vocabulary enrichment, especially when it comes to their writing. However, they lack the in-classroom resources. That is why I am seeking to build a classroom set of thesauruses and dictionaries. I have students who would greatly benefit from flexible seating options. Some of my students struggle with anxiety and/or ADHD, and others simply have a hard time sitting still and focusing for a long time. I want them to have access to wiggle chairs to accommodate their need for movement. Finally, I want my students to have access to larger classroom maps.
