Yoga can help students out immensely by reducing stress and adding confidence, which in turn allows them to focus more intently throughout their day. My students will use these yoga mats to learn the basics of yoga and mindful meditation. The mats provide a comfortable and clean space for them to fully participate in these activities, rather then just lying down on the dance floor. Monday Mindfulness is a wonderful way to begin the week and really clear their heads of any stressors they may be experiencing. Even ten minutes of this can provide a HUGE improvement in their academic classes.

About my class
