My school is in the Bay Area and students are immersed in technology, innovation, and science. Connecting the innovation in our area to classroom learning, builds opportunities to engage all students in grade level math. 3D printing involves math concepts of scaling, proportionality, and helps students reason critically in creating objects that they design. Students will build models of student-designed community spaces, student-led clubs, and student-designed fidgets. Students will present their artifacts to others through a math congress. By donating to our project, you will help students engage in meaningful, engaging mathematics!
