To win a game a player needs to manipulate the rules to win. An academic solves algebra problems by manipulating the rules. A lawyer wins a case by manipulating the rules of law. A chemist achieves a compound by manipulating the rules of chemistry. The social interaction and rule application of gameplay can be applied to many areas of life both academic and social. My goal is to get students to learn good game behaviors, an understanding of rule application, and the ability to be self-reflective. Please consider donating so that I have some more resources for my game(Catan)/math elective.
