In preschool, we do a study on insects. During the insect study, we will be studying metamorphosis. The children will be able to observe the caterpillars turning into butterflies step by step. The roll and race activity ramps will enable the children to graph, compare and see which cars went the furthest. They can use rulers to compare. The different textures will enable the children to observe and predict how the car will ride and predict the outcome. The bugs and dinosaurs are to enhance the children's learning. The bugs will enable the children to study them through a see through material where they can observe the top and underneath. The dinosaur eggs children can pretend to be paleontologists and dig for dinosaur bones. The cash register has numbers and buttons to push and money to count which helps them with their math skills.
