The materials and supplies for my students will be used in class and at home. Students will increase language development and provide practice in reading skills being taught. Having your own reading book and being able to take it home to read creates a warm bond between the student and learning. The wide range of genres selected will give each student the opportunity to read something they enjoy. The “flex space floor seats” makes the classroom environment cozier for student to read around the classroom and not be confined to their desk. Students will be able to read in that corner, where it is quiet and no distractions. With the “flex space floor seating” students can stay safe by being 6 feet apart from each other and still own the space they are in. These seats can be easily wiped down and used multiple times in a school day. The donations to this project will help students find the love of reading at home as well as in school. I truly need your help by giving a student a book that they will own and providing a safe environment for them to be able to read in the classroom.
