As a first-year teacher,I am so excited to begin my career as an educator! With the start of the new year, I want to make sure that I am prepared to meet the needs of ours scholars. I have been encouraged to prioritize building relationships with my students. These supplies will allow me to be organized when handling student documents and important information about performance and behavior. I want to do my best to be prepared for parent-teacher conferences! Our third graders are so excited to return to school but a little nervous about learning Spanish. Language learning can be challenging, but I want to do my best to make our classroom exciting and engaging! While online language resources can be efficient, research shows that tangible materials allow students to recall information much better than digital ones. I believe that having bilingual dictionaries in the class will really empower them to memorize new vocabulary as they dig for the information.
