At this age the kids are developing their love for learning and reading every day! As their teacher, I want my students to read a variety of materials and the Scholastic Magazines are a perfect addition to our classroom to let them read about current events. The magazines are colorful, informative and interesting, so the students will always want to pick them up to read. The weekly magazines feature interesting articles about current events combined with photos and artwork. The magazines are very inviting & encourage the students to turn the pages to read and learn about the world around them with material that is written in a kid friendly way. Scholastic News definitely caters to all types of learners and I hope that I can get this project funded quickly so that we can use this valuable resource each week in class! :)
