A STEM based activity, like Coding, is a very important skill to acquire. The world depends heavily on technology and technology cannot survive without Code. With the cart and Spheros requested, students will learn to build and code their very own robot. The supplies will also help contribute to a "Mobile STEM cart" that I am building for the students to use in the school library. I will also be holding a #READERSARELEADERS challenge to promote more student reading during their “down time”. Whoever reads the most books/ebooks will win the Sphero Mini to take home! Coding is a amazing form of student learning accountability and it’s really fun! Coding involves critical thinking, problem solving and trial & error. Learning how to code has the ability to improve student confidence and performance with technology. Coding is a very fun & interactive way to get students more engaged with learning and most importantly they are learning at their own pace.
