Help give my students the math materials they need. Manipulatives used in Math can be important tools in helping students to think and reason in more meaningful ways. Students are able to master mathematical concepts and reflect on their learning experiences. The effective use of manipulatives can help students connect ideas and combine their knowledge so they gain a deep understanding of mathematical concepts. When students work hands-on with manipulatives, they develop a sense of confidence within themselves and their skills. As a result, their math anxiety is reduced and students feel secure about their mathematical reasoning. Furthermore, they are able to express their ideas with peers with eagerness and excitement!
