We focus a lot on play and imagination as well as creativity in my classroom.Having materials to facilitate that is essential! Through play children have the opportunity to make connections with their peers and teachers and they have the chance to find their own authentic voices! We have so many families who do not have the resources to provide these items for our classroom or to provide them to their children at home. So many of my own personal dollars have gone to underwear, boots, winter coats and more.
