The bouncy bands will give the students a chance to move when seat work is required. Movement at this age is important and helps them focus. Right now, many of my students stand to work and fidget. The light table and accessories will give us another option during STEAM and literacy centers. They will be able to manipulate the objects for a engaging learning experience. I try to include all the senses while learning in my class. This gives a visual a experience as well as hands on. This helps keep them engaged during centers, so I can pull small groups of kids to give individual attention.
