The scholastic magazines will increase my student reading time without them lugging home a thick textbook. The magazines are light but, has a powerful punch. The magazine provides high interest topics which will keep students engaged. The photos are eye catching for students'. The articles are an easy read especially for my struggling readers. The activities that accompany the magazine are student friendly as well. Activities such as a crossword puzzle or word search to comprehension question where students will have to find the text evidence to justify their answers.
