I am asking for materials to support my school-wide counseling practice. Topics we cover during the school year include: Self-Awareness, Self-Regulation, Anxiety, Anti-Racism, Empathy, Mindfulness, Problem-Solving, Bullying, Personal Safety, Cyber Safety, and Career. Pre-K through 5th grade students will benefit from sensory tools, inclusive books and interactive toys to supplement our individual and group counseling lessons. Sensory and mindfulness tools will help my students regulate. Students will benefit from rich discussions based on inclusive books featuring diverse characters. Puppets will help the younger students engage with the lessons and concepts, enabling them to role play.
