I plan on using the materials donated to do lots of hands-on activities with my students. I also plan on using lots of visuals by creating anchor charts and labels to create a literacy rich enviornment. ELL students need lots of visual representations of content and children in lower elementary learn so much through social interactions and play. My students will get great use of manipulative that they can sort and put together such as letters to create words and their name. It's the second week of school and my students love read aloud time and books are alway a great necessity.
