In the first three days of school, I have had to make my own worksheets on the whiteboard because I can't project the page on the board. In my student teaching, I used a document camera to project pages for the students to see. This made it easy for the students to see what I was doing, follow along, and participate in their growth of knowledge. Having a document camera will make it easy to teach my students even when other technology doesn't seem to be working. This document camera would be used in all areas. For instance in science, I would project the students' experiment on seeds. In math I would project our manipulatives like working with money. In Language Arts, I would project the book I was reading so the students could easily see the pages.
