These print materials will help my students understand current events and helps them to read and comprehend texts catered to their individualized learning needs. They will be able to read and learn how analyze the text and answer questions based on the text. Each student will get a copy of their own text analogous to a newspaper and highlight the important facts from what they read. Students will do this daily and it will be incorporated into their scheduled routines. Eventually students will be held accountable to do this daily on their own as a daily ritual.
