I would like to create a Math Literacy center designed to increase interest in mathematics. All students will have access to the books. The books requested will naturally lead children to discover a love for mathematics! Mathematical picture books can be highly engaging for struggling students. The pictures, in combination with the math concepts, provide a visual representation and a reference point for their mathematical knowledge. Reading about mathematics will allow students to make connections to their personal lives a chance to interact with mathematics in a different way!

About my class
