My students are special education students. When I moved into my classroom I had zero supplies to help support my students' learning. These calculators, notebooks, and whiteboards are just the start. The calculators will help my students by providing an equal opportunity to be successful in math. It will help them to be able to learn the process of math without having to worry if they are going to times something right or add something. It will help to facilitate classroom learning by being able to move more productively in class. The whiteboards will support our whole group instruction and help me to know the students who might need a little bit more one-on-one. Helping me to check for understanding and how long our lesson really needs to go. The notebooks provide a place to take notes and work through problems. The pandemic has made everything go online. Online really prohibits my students learning. They need room to write things out. It helps me to see where they might be messing up and how they will be able to succeed better.
