The plan is to give the students science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) activities to do in small groups during our school's Fun Friday that promote sharing and help foster cooperation. The selected items will also help students with their fine motor skills. I chose activities that help build the physical understanding of engineering, and kids just like to build. The magnets are for my lowest student who has shown great interest in the magnets I use around the classroom, especially the counters for my magnetic ten frames. I hope that using these STEM activities will help all of my students grow emotionally and physically not just mentally.
