My students love to play games, so why not make it educational. Education is changing every single day, and so is the way children learn. Paper and pencil work does not grab my student's attention the way actively playing games does. We have minimal games in the classroom, and the ones we do have, the children love to play. My first-grade students are very active, and hands-on learning is a great method to teach them. The cards we will use in various ways: to teach greater than less than, counting, number recognition, addition and subtraction, and so forth. The games each have a description as to how they will be used.
