My middle schoolers are great kids, thinking deeply and creating interesting written work. But sometimes they just need to get out of their little chairs and stretch their bodies. Standing desks are all the rage for getting blood flowing, but they also are a great option for kids who need variety. Our middle school library keeps growing and we need another large bookshelf so we can keep kids interested in the newest titles. With this new shelf and four standing desks, I'm confident my students will continue to blow me away with their ideas.
