The students will be taught basic life skills such as budgeting, banking, credit, clothing maintenance, and food preparation. We moved into a new building with no foods lab facilities, therefore, a kitchen will have to be built for the family and consumer science program. Emphasis is placed on preparing meals on a budget that are nutritious and delicious for all age groups from toddlers to adults. Having this range donated will allow us to spend our budget money on supplies instead of appliances which will mean that the students can gain more lab/cooking experiences.
