Our amazing students are setting up a coffee shop for staff members. Our coffee shop will help students learn essential job skills, such as writing down orders, making detailed coffee orders with creamers, milk, and allergy-friendly milks. So, it is really important that we have a compact refrigerator to keep our supplies food-safe. Our fridge will also help us learn financial literacy skills because we will be able to budget supply orders and track the costs of supplies and order. We will also focus on financial literacy skills by tracking weekly coffee orders, tracking data trends on a large poster chart, and calculating the estimated costs of orders- which are all tasks that will build crucial financial literacy, essential job skills, and a sense of pride!
