Children love to play in sand and water. Not only are they enjoying splashing and splashing or scooping and dumping, but the children are also learning at the same time and do not even realize it. The self-directed play offered at the sand and water tables, help children improve their coordination skills, use their gross and fine motor and cognitive skills, some math fundamentals, and test out their artistic expression. It also helps with sensory exploration, scientific concepts, language development, and social skills. By having the items requested, the children will be able to work on all of these skills during their free play.
