I teach high school students character, leadership skills, and ethics and values in order to produce better citizens and men and women of character. I introduced them to reading about different people throughout history and different events that helped shape their minds and develop their character. Trying to introduce them to reading and get excited about learning and taking lessons learned from throughout history. Much can be learned by reading and the goal is to develop better solutions. The students gain much knowledge from earning about other people who overcome great obstacles and challenges.
