Rather than be distracted by external factors that are beyond their control, I want my students to feel comfortable knowing they have access to essential items that may not otherwise be available to them. The number of times students request products for menstruation, while hiding embarrassment, is something I want to help quell. If students arrive to school hungry, they should be able to grab a snack without hesitation. Though these are not educational in the traditional sense, many of my students will benefit. Please help make my classroom a safe space for my students!

About my class
