My students will be able to have a true hands-on learning experience by planting and caring for their very own plants. They will learn what plants need in order to thrive; their many roles in our community and ecosystem, and then they will be able to take their plant home to continue to care for it! My hope is that they will have a personal connection with something that they will need to care for. I also hope that they then learn the importance of taking care of every small organism in our world because we are all connected.

About my class
