Social emotional learning is an essential aspect of all learners' lives. As a teacher, I have the opportunity to help students learn, identify, and process diverse emotions and feelings. These materials will serve as key tools and resources that can help students develop coping skills, self-awareness, and empathy. The folders will contain resources that can be used at home and/or school. The selected books will also help students enhance foundational reading skills such as high frequency words, fluency, phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, etc. A Social Emotional Classroom Chart will provide extra support for visual and kinesthetic learners.
