These games will help students who need a little extra help to stay engaged, have fun, and learn all at the same time. I have students who don't yet know their alphabet. I have students who don't yet know how to count to 10. These games will supplement our classroom activities and learning, in a multi-sensory way that these students so desperately crave. As observed from a few games we've played in the classroom recently, what my students gain from such experience is amazing! I plan on doing FUN FRIDAYS every week, and having end-of-meeting discussion groups to share our learning!
