Most of the materials will be used to create a safe and inviting environment for my students when they are in my office. Fidget toys, games, and activities for students that are feeling anxious, depressed, or overwhelmed. Posters and signage with affirming and positive language to encourage students to make good choices. To be an effective School Counselor, my office should feel like a space where students feel comfortable enough to share their triumphs and their failures, as well as any struggles they may be dealing with. I hope to create that space for them.

About my class
