This is the first year my school is offering a STEAM class. We are in the very beginning stages of building an amazing STEAM lab for our students. I am hoping to incorporate a fun Maker Space for students to create and design, as well as manipulative activities that help students with critical thinking skills, and opportunities to learn to code and work with Robotics. We want to give our students the best hands on and real world experiences that they can get through STEAM topics. We are a Title 1 school and many of the students don't have access to these types of projects outside of the classroom. We want to give them the best chance to succeed. These material will help us create a STEAM lab where the students will be engaged to learn and grow. The materials will also be accessible to the before/after school program which provides additional services to our Title 1 families.
