My students will use the medicine ball as an alternative behavior replacement when getting frustrated with others and themselves. By teaching them to use these alternative materials they will slowing start to shape their inappropriate behaviors into appropriate ones. They start to shift their mindset of showing physical aggression towards others and wanting to use the appropriate materials. The fidget materials help my students stay focused and release anxiety while around others and in big groups. This lowers their stress levels. Laminating sheets help protect visuals that will be posted in the room and kept with them when traveling around the school. My student will be able to earn to get to work on STEM wooden projects.
