My second graders have set a wildly important goal of building up their reading stamina by exploring books that are both interesting to them and on their reading level. Adding these books to our classroom library will keep them engaged and excited about reading. Each and every student has their own unique interests and many have requested a larger variety of books that are available to them during our class read-to-self time. In order to build their stamina I would love to add their requests to our library and get them excited about reading!
