Traditional school settings often get neglected when it comes to the "extras". I am so excited that our traditional school decided to add DANCE as an ancillary option to its students. Being that it is a new program we are building and starting with nothing. We only have floors and 4 walls to the classroom. Adding mats for beginning tumbling needs and to keep dance fun for the boys would be a total treat. As we are growing with costumes, accessories, and arts/crafts to create visuals for our performing arts program organization will be key! To begin our journey a FEW KEY resources are needed. Our dance students have assignments, printed handouts, etc., therefore a classroom printer would be helpful. We are exploring various ways to condition and strengthen our bodies and become flexible dancers - the yoga blocks would greatly assist us on that journey.
