For the past several years I have been slowly building a children's literature library to use with my high school level child development classes. The students will read and use these story books to create children centered activities. They will create story time activities to present to the elementary school children in our school district as their final culminating project. I selected this specific assortment of books to add to our library because their themes reflect the diversity of our students, gender equality, family roles and responsibilities, and current topics. I am excited to be able to offer a collection of award winning titles.
