Writing can be challenging for 4th grade students. They are being graded on so many different forms of criteria: effective word choice- development of character- fitting dialog and figurative language. When I write, I need to be comfortable. I like a cushy chair or pillows behind my back. I have requested comfy seating options for my classroom to help students who wiggle, snuggle, and rock a space they can go to write their masterpiece. I will use these seating chairs for individual work periods, and the wiggle seats for daily seating for children with ADD or behaviors that are on the spectrum that would benefit sensory needs of the student.

About my class
