Students living in poverty are statistically less exposed to Social Studies and Science in school. When students are struggling in key areas, like reading and math, other subjects tend to get overlooked. TIME magazine can introduce current events specifically designed for child engagement and comprehension. Teachers Pay Teachers is a FANTASTIC resource for all teachers. By sharing ideas, we can all work together and make it easier for our fellow teachers.
