I am a first-year teacher, and I want my class to be everything my students need and more. I want to have a learning environment that is fun, colorful and hands-on. I want them to have a close-up view of everything that is around them. Each of the things in this project will assist with making that a reality.
I will use the Hue document camera to allow my students to get a closer view of how to do the different assignments we are working on. If we are working on letters, they will be able to see me form each letter. The Dry erase pockets will be used in center time and in whole group. This will allow my students to have continuous practice on different skills that we are working on without actually writing on the worksheet. The laminating sheets will be used to laminate the center games that I am creating for my class. My students will use the sidewalk chalk to be creative during recess time. Finally, I will use the treasure chest toys to reward my students for good behavior, diligently completing their work, and demonstrating what it means to be a Macon-Hall Timberwolves.
