Learning to read is hard work! But with these games and materials, it will be FUN too! Pop its will be used to identify sounds in a word, the number of words in a sentence, and the number of syllables in a longer word. We will use the learning mats for many games such as squishing sounds with Play-Doh, using magnet chips to show syllables, and the magic wands to blend the sounds together. By donating to my project, you will help many students practice foundational reading skills in a fun, engaging way! Phonological awareness, decoding, literacy knowledge, and language structure are some of the many skills we will practice with the materials in my project. Please help me make learning to read fun for my students!
