This items for this project will be used to increase student engagement and overall achievement. The overall goal as a student is to learn and achieve. Being able to use specific tools for learning will students to actively interact with the lesson and gain confidence in the skills and abilities. In my classroom, students will rely on different math tools in order to independently solve math problems, apply various strategies as well as collaborate and think through their work with other classmates. As students collaborate, a number of ways to problem solve are shared across the classroom to support others in their thinking. The tools for this project will remain inside the classroom to ensure that students are able to return to learning each day, prepared to learn and actively engage.
