With social distancing, and the possibility of distance learning, it's important that I'm able to provide students with some supplies (headphones, notebooks...) if needed. Students have also really been struggling with reading/writing stamina since the pandemic. I am hoping that the two collections of short stories can help pull them back into reading and inspire them to write their own stories. My goal for the binding machine is to help give them purpose to their writing by "publishing" it for other classes. When we have an audience besides our teacher, we tend to write better.
