Receiving a new Chromebook for my class will open up a door full of fun activities. I am fortunate enough to have a Smartboard in my class, but a Smartboard requires some sort of computer to run & display what is on its screen. The computer that I have now takes 15 minutes just to turn on!! Second graders will lose interest in my lesson while waiting for our current computer to load. Living in such unprecedented times, we can now take virtual field trips all over the county. This is something that I would love to take advantage of, given the opportunity.
